Three steps, and then you are training with someone.
Pick your gyms and the hours you actually turn up. You are only ever shown to people who listed the same gym.
A ranked list of members at your gym, sorted by shared hours and by what each of you is looking for.
Agree on an hour, then meet inside the gym after you both scan your badge at the front desk, so you know you’re both members.
No home address, no live location, no radius search on people. A member is visible only to other members of the same specific gym.
Two people who both train at 6:30 on a Tuesday have more in common than two people who live on the same street.
No streaks, no scores, no public counters. The only number is how many sessions you actually trained.
What we do, and — just as importantly — what we do not claim to do.
You are only visible at your own gyms. Someone who has never listed a gym you train at cannot see that you exist.
Gyms are self-reported, and we say so. We cannot confirm anyone’s membership, so we never pretend we have.
Meet inside, after the front desk. Every session starts on the gym floor, never the car park.
Report and block, both private. A person reads every report, and the person you report is never told who reported them.
Nothing punitive is public. No no-show counter, no rating, no reliability score. Anywhere.
HeyFitt covers every major gym in the U.S. — the big chains, independent strength gyms, YMCAs, university and hotel gyms, boutique studios. If people train there, it’s in here.
“I moved cities and trained alone for a year. The people were right there the whole time — we just had no way of knowing we kept the same hours.”
